Additionally, domestic customers using Raymond James as a clearing agent will be charged $10.00 postage and handling fee per transaction and domestic customers using INTL FC Stone (formerly Sterne Agee) as a clearing agent will be charged $10.00 postage and handling fee per transaction. International customers, regardless of the clearing agent, will be charged $10.00 postage and handling fee per transaction. Business Continuity Plan IFS Securities (“IFS or “the Firm”) has developed a Business Continuity Plan on how the Firm will respond to events that significantly disrupt its business. Since the timing and impact, of disasters/ disruptions are unpredictable, the Firm will have to be flexible in responding to actual events as they occur. With that in mind, IFS is providing you with this information on its business continuity plan.

• Contacting IFS If after a significant business disruption, you cannot contact the Firm as you usually do at (404) 382-5223 you should call our Firm emergency number (631) 767-5123. If you cannot access the Firm through either of those means, you should contact the clearing firm – Raymond James at (888) 752-5327 or INTL FCStone at (800) 264-4863 – for instructions on how it may provide prompt access to funds and securities; enter orders; and process other trade-related cash and security transfer transactions for your account.

• IFS Securities: Business Continuity Plan IFS plans to quickly recover and resume business operations after significant business disruptions and respond by safeguarding its employees and property, making a financial and operational assessment, protecting the Firm’s books and records, and allowing its customers to transact business. In short, the Firm’s business continuity plan is designed to permit the Firm to resume operations as quickly as possible, given the scope and severity of the significant business disruption.

IFS’ Business Continuity Plan addresses data backup and recovery; all mission critical systems; financial and operational assessments; alternative communications with customers, employees, and regulators; alternative physical locations of employees; critical suppliers, contractors, banks, and counterparty impact; regulatory reporting; and assuring our customers prompt access to their funds and securities if we are able to continue our business.

IFS’ clearing firms, Raymond James and INTL FCStone, back up the Firm’s important records in a geographically separate area. While every emergency situation poses unique problems based on external factors such as time of the day and the severity of the disruption, IFS has been advised by both of its clearing firms that their objectives are to restore their own operations and be able to complete existing transactions and accept new transactions and payments within four hours. Your orders and requests for funds and securities could be delayed during this period.

• Varying Disruptions Significant business disruptions can vary in their scope, such as a single building housing the Firm, the business district where the Firm is located, the city where the Firm is located, or the whole region. Within each of these areas, the severity of the disruption can also vary from minimum to severe. In a disruption to only IFS or a building housing the Firm, IFS will transfer its operations to a local site when needed and expect to recover and resume business within four hours. In a disruption affecting IFS business district, city, or region, the Firm will transfer its operations to a site outside of the affected area and recover and resume business within 24 hours. In either situation, IFS plans to continue in business, transfer operations to its clearing firms (if necessary), and notify you through U.S. Postal Mail, electronic mail (email), or our customer emergency number (631) 767-5123. If the significant business disruption is so severe that it prevents IFS from remaining in business, the Firm will assure our customers prompt access to their funds and securities.
